Duke Centennial Hall
Duke Centennial Hall (DCH) is the home of the Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Science Department. Built to embody The William States Lee College of Engineering's philosophy of a hands-on design-based educational experience, these world-class facilities allow us to make this philosophy a reality. The 107,000-square-foot building contains state-of-the art classrooms, lecture halls, laboratories, machine shops, computer labs, and computational and modeling facilities. Some examples of research performed in Duke Hall include bio-engineering, such as testing body-part implants, and high-speed machining that results in many industrial improvements including lighter aircraft.
