Fretwell Building

The E.K. and Dorrie Fretwell Building honors the contributions of UNC Charlotte's second chancellor and his wife. It houses the Departments of English, Mathematics and Statistics, Sociology, Political Science, and Public Administration. It also houses the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences' Dean's Office, the college's Advising Center, and the Office of Disability Services. This building is equipped with modern classrooms, a student lounge, computer labs and a second location for Peet's Cafe. Outside, students can relax at the hammock stand, or check of the Syrillic Projector or statue of the Self-Made Man.
