Burson Building

The Burson building houses the Department of Physics and Optical Science on the first floor and the Department of Chemistry on the second floor. The building’s innovative architecture includes an extremely complex mechanical system which ensures safe exhaust of poisonous and noxious fumes. Just about 50% of our students in declared majors are in the science, math, and engineering fields, and 15,000 students are enrolled in laboratory sections every year.
